Single or Double Blink?
On the TM-CELL200, TM-CELL300, and TM-CELL400 the failure light will blink a single blink (e.g., blink......blink......blink.....) to indicate that it could not find any sensors attached to the unit. Please be sure you have at least one working sensor attached. If you have a sensor attached, but continue to receive a double blink, please contact support.
On the TM-CELL200, TM-CELL300, TM-CELL400 the failure light will blink a double blink (e.g., blink blink......blink blink......blink blink.....) to indicate that there was a failure communicating over the cellular network. Please try the following steps to correct the issue:
- Reset the unit - you can press and immediately release the on/off button to reset the unit.
- Check the wireless signal strength - put the unit into signal strength indicator mode by pressing and holding the on/off button for a few seconds. You will see all the lights come on immediately and then the status light will start flashing. That's how you know you can release the on/off button and the unit is in signal strength indicator mode. The more lights you have, the stronger your signal strength. If you have only one red light or a blinking red light, you may need to move the unit to an area with better reception. If that is not possible, you can extend the sensor cable lengths or add an antenna cable extension). To return to normal operating mode, press and immediately release the on/off button or simply wait 3 minutes and the unit will return to normal operating mode on its own.
- Ensure the unit is connected to external power - if the unit hasn't been used in a while or the AC adapter has failed, the battery may be too low to transmit. If it hasn't been used in a while, plug it into the wall for 20-30 minutes and then press/release the on/off button to see if it is able to transmit successfully. If there are no lights illuminated on your AC adapter, disconnect the USB cable from the wall adapter and connect it to your computer for 20-30 minutes to charge up the unit. Then, press/release the on/off button to see if it is able to transmit successfully.
