Web-based Cabinet Monitoring
A low-cost device for monitoring the environment of cabinets, racks, and rooms, theWxGoos-1 contains five built-in sensors, door sensors and a serial bus port to for a variety of external sensors. Other than a small power supply, the unit is completely self-contained.
Containing an internal web server this unit operates completely stand-alone with no supporting PC or client software required. Internal sensors include temperature, humidity, air flow, light level, and sound level, plus three door position sensor ports. An internal 5 port serial port hub makes adding remote sensors easy. The user needs only a Web Browser to view the environment conditions. The unit creates internal HTML (Web) pages, e-mail and paging alerts. A full SNMP MIB is included. One WxGoos-1 can monitor 16 remote sensors. A small plug-in wall transformer provides power. The WeatherGoose is integrated into a 19" 1-U high rack mounted panel.

The internal processor generates web pages and requires no client software other than a
browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.
