Thank you for the device. It arrived Tuesday 9 June, very prompt.

It installed as expected and we look forward to it monitoring a remote DR server room. Great niche product.

Top Notch November 14, 2008
Reviewer: Matt Anderson from Mesa, AZ
We are using the product in our main data center and it runs on a monitor server that we use that monitors the data center temperature, UPS status, and backup status for all of our main servers. I find the product to be extremely useful and love knowing that if we have an issue with our HVAC that the people who need to know will get sent an email (to a TXT) 24/7.

We also have our APC UPS system that pages us when power fails but have found that on a few occasions the APC software doesn’t always email us as it loses its data USB connection for some reason (software bug as far as I can tell). I mention that because in those cases the TemperatureAlert sensor has actually detected the heat rise when the main HVAC loses power because we are able to set the max temp settings very precisely. Amazing…your inexpensive product works better as a power failure notification than our multi-thousand dollar APC UPS system!

As for your customer service, all I can say is that it is top notch. We had some issues with our first sensor unit and after doing some troubleshooting with your support team and having a new unit shipped out (for no additional cost to us) we got those issues solved and everything seems to be fine.

Excellent product. Excellent support. I have recommended your product to many friends and colleagues.

Worth Its Weight in Gold October 22, 2008
Reviewer: Brian Wright from Ohio
I took over the reigns of help desk at small office. The previous admin
has a Temp@lert sensor in place but there was no documentation or
anything else informing me how to access the data or reinstall the unit.

I sent an e-mail to your help desk team and was promptly given a link to
download the software which installed like a charm.

Not only that but I didn't need any product keys, serial #s, proof of
purchase, or other documentation like that in order to get support.
That is my biggest satisfaction point with Temp@lert.

We have a small server room that isn't best suited to be just that.
Because of it's small size the room can heat up rapidly if the A/C unit
goes out.

The Temp@lert sensor was easy to setup and notify me via e-mail if the
temperature goes above a certain threshold.

So far it has worked great for us. One of those little devices that is
worth its weight in gold when it works correctly.

Thanks!

T@ is our 24/7 Guardian October 22, 2008
Reviewer: Bryan J. McMullan from Mayfield Heights, OH
I think the Temperature@lert product is an excellent device that serves a needed function in any size implementation. In our environment we use it as a first line of defense to notify us of temperature fluctuations within any one of our three data centers. They typically notify us well in advance of temperature issues (before our primary room sensors go off) that allow us to address issues before they become problems. T@ is our 24/7 guardian watching our CRAC units. Our implementation has saved us thousands of dollars in downtime all for a few hundred dollar investment. I’ve also build some additional support apps that read the T@ logs and import the information into a DB with a web front-end that allows facilities users and other IT users direct access to the temperature in any of our rooms over a website.
